Farmstead Dairy with Daphne Kingsley and Cameron Genter
Come to Prairie Roots Farm for a full day of hands-on learning. We will begin with the basics of milking a cow and then move into milk handling and processing. We will make yogurt, butter, a fresh chevre style cheese, and cottage cheese. This is an intro level course geared towards the adventurous dairy novice and anyone interested in learning how to make high quality dairy products at home.
