Forge Welding Workshop with Robert Schulz

Forge welding is one of the core techniques of blacksmithing, and it is one of the more challenging. Learning to forge weld offers endless possibilities to creative design, and is critical for those who wish to do historic work. In this course students will learn about “scarfing” or prepping your metal for welding, flux application, the right temperature to weld, and how to maintain the proper fire. Prior forging experience helpful.
