Maple Sugaring with Vince Hundt

Join Vince Hundt, who has been making syrup on his farm near Coon Valley for 20 years, in identifying sugar maples without their leaves, tapping trees, collecting sap, and boiling it down to syrup using a medium scale wood-fired evaporator. Learn the different grades of syrup, how to make maple candy, and how not to scorch the evaporator pan. Making syrup is a festive activity that is fun for the whole family.
