Build a Solar Dehydrator with Dale Kittleson
Join us in a hands-on, do-it-yourself workshop building a passive solar dehydrator. Based on the design of Larisa Walk (geopathfinder.com), this proven model works well in the humid Midwestern region. It has no moving parts, uses passive solar energy, requires no tracking and is easy to use and clean. This is an excellent tool for people who want to preserve food without the use of fossil fuel. We will be sawing, drilling, painting and assembling and at the end of the day you will take home your very own solar food dehydrator!
