More About Kristina Schnepf:

Compelled by the desire for more simplicity and community Kristina made significant changes in her life in 2019.  Withdrawing from work that took her away from the community in which she lived, stepping off of the corporate treadmill of quarterly earnings, and moving back to her home state of Michigan, Kristina discovered the satisfaction in slowing down, working with her hands, living more sustainably and building a community of mutual support.

It was this contrast to her former life that led Kristina to recognize that everyone in our modern world can benefit from the joy, fulfillment, and satisfaction gained by experience in traditional skills and practices. Creating a space for the learning and practice of these skills in Northwest Michigan, with its beautiful landscape, talented artisans, and inspiring community, seemed an obvious fit.

With 30 years of business experience and immense support and collaboration from the community, Kristina is thrilled to be part of bringing Green Door Folk School to Northwest Michigan.
